Why should I give to Real Life Church?

When you give to Real Life Church, God does something amazing—He multiplies your gifts, doing more than any of us could ask or imagine. Your giving becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth. Even more, God allows you to be a part of all He is doing in your community and around the world through local and global missions partners.

At Real Life Church, we honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that our financial integrity remains beyond reproach.

Which giving option should I choose?

Giving of your firstfruits supports the ongoing operations of the church. We encourage you to give your Biblical tithe to the general fund throughout the year.

The “Kingdom Come” giving option is our year-end offering that is used to fund the expansion of the church through new ministry projects, technology improvements, and building improvements. We ask you to ask God and bring your best one time gift to feed the thing that feeds you. The Kingdom Come offering ends on December 31, 2023. To give above and beyond your regular tithe, you can give specifically to our Legacy giving.

What is Legacy Giving?

Real Life Church has five areas for giving above your tithe that we call Legacy giving. The five Legacy Lanes are: New Church Ministries, Spaces & Places, Local Outreach, Church Planting, and Global Missions. These funds set the pace for our church to take new ground and reach more people. By giving to these funds, you become part of our legacy team and are given regular updates and vision into what God is doing through your giving. What is the best way to give?

The easiest and best way to give is through the Real Life Church–Church Center app. You can make a gift, schedule your giving, and review your giving history all in one place. You can also access our groups and sign-ups all in one place. Visit reallifechurchkc.com/give to download the app for free today.

How do I view my giving statement for tax purposes?

You can view and download your giving history anytime through the Church Center app or at reallifechurchkc.churchcenter.com/giving. We will send you an email with your giving statement by January 31st of the following calendar year. If you need help getting a copy of your giving statement or have questions about your giving history, you can let us know at giving@reallifechurchkc.com and we’d be happy to help you.

What is the most cost effective method of giving?

The most cost-effective method of giving to Real Life Church is giving through the “bank account” option. This method has the lowest processing costs which allows us to put more of your gift to work in ministry.

Can I give non-cash gifts to the church?

Yes! The mission of God moves greatly through non-cash giving. As a start, review our Non-Cash Giving Guide and if you have something you’d like to give, and please contact us at giving@reallifechurchkc.com or during business hours at 816-616-9234 with any questions about giving non-cash gifts to Real Life Church.

How do I make changes to my giving?

On the Church Center app, you can log in to your donor profile and update payment methods or recurring payments, view your donation history, access tax statements, and set communication preferences from the My Giving button on the Church Center app Give page.

What is the deadline for annual contributions?

Cash and check contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31st to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by 11:59 pm on December 31st to be included. We recommend submitting stock gifts by December 10th to be eligible to receive a charitable tax deduction in this calendar year due to processing times. Do you offer financial life groups?

Yes, we offer financial Life Groups. For more information about joining a financial Life Group, please contact info@reallifechurchkc.com or check out reallifechurchkc.com/groups to see our current Life Groups.
