 WE BELIEVE

Knowable Truth

Truth is knowable in the accuracy, authority, and power of the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God. The Bible was inspired by God and written under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.

One God

We believe in a personal God who created and sustains the universe. He reveals himself as one essence with three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. All three are co-equally God yet each are distinct persons making the Trinity.

Uniqueness of Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin born Son of God who lived in the flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again, and ascended to the Father. We believe our redemption and salvation are guaranteed by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead and that He is the only means of salvation.

God’s Pursuit - People

God created people upright and good in His spiritual image and in relationship with Him. People awoke to life by the breath of God and stared into the face of God making us the supreme object of His creation. Our pride led to disobedience towards God called “sin” thus breaking our perfect relationship with God and giving us a sin nature which separates us from having a relationship with him. God has endlessly pursued us, culminating with sending His Son Jesus to pay the price for our sin on a cross. People are restored into a permanent right relationship with God through faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection for their sins. God exchanges all our wrongs for all of Jesus’ rights and makes us whole again. The life we now live, we live for Jesus.

Made Alive through Salvation

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ was the final and complete sacrifice for the sins of humanity and that salvation is freely given to those who believe by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. All who turn away (repent) from their sins receive forgiveness of sins and are born again into eternal life as children of God beginning a permanent relationship with Jesus which starts now and last forever.

Holy Spirit Dependence

We believe that life on earth is to be lived in the power of the Holy Spirit who indwells and gifts believers - enabling them with power to do what is right and to exercise their spiritual gifting to make famous the Father in heaven.

Community of Faith

We believe the worldwide body of Christ best expresses itself in distinct local communities of believers. Their purpose is to worship Jesus and fame His name, strengthen people, and help communities so that all people can know the healing power and grace of the Savior.

The Reality of the Eternal

All people are eternal beings made in the image of God and will either be resurrected to new life in Jesus forever in Heaven or will be resurrected to eternal separation from God forever in Hell.
